Into the West
Amos Black (Demonized)
- Back Story:
p. * Born in a small town called Pinebarren, in North Carolina
p. * When Amos was young – a capable boy of 16 – and already versed in the skills of shooting and survival, his father left the family of 8 for war. 7 months later he returned, but seemed a little off. That night, Amos woke up to screaming and ran into the common room in time to see his father covered in blood and slaughtering his siblings. Grabbing his father’s sabre that was lying against the wall he lept for the crazed man and cut him down. The experience left Amos -the only surviving member of his family – a bit scarred. When he was called to war, the experience and maybe some of his father’s genes certainly left their mark in the form a crazed desire for his enemies’ blood
p. * 6 months later, with nothing much left for him in Pinebarren, Amos joined the war and quickly proved himself a capable warrior. Hid penchant for ruthless killing, however, had a way of making his fellow soldiers uneasy.
p. * Another 3 months passed, and Amos had built a reputation for himself as a soldier and a killer. It was at this time that Amos was approached by a man who called himself only Adam and invited to participate in a ‘special’ group that would suit his particular interests well.
p. * For nearly a year following, Amos worked with the 9 member squad on a range of missions. They came to call the unit Revolver, as a reference to both their gruesome line of work and the frequency with which members met an untimely demise and were replaced.
p. * For some time after the end of the war Revolver continued with their duties mire or less unchanged. Of course, with the war no longer providing cover, this earned them a lot of attention fast. Within months the group was summarily disbanded and the members relieved of duty. Now each of the survivors are left to fend fir themselves, and Amos again finds himself without a family structure.
